here are all the things i can draw & that you can put on your miso grains

This is a tasty way to have a savory breakfast or funky time at lunch or dinner. This was 100% inspired & simplified from an Alison Roman Dining In recipe, sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup of Water

1 Tbsp Miso, I typically have white miso but you do you

1/2 Tbsp of Soy Sauce

1 Cup of Whole Grains (Rice, Quinoa, Hot Wheat Cereal, Faro, Oatmeal, Brown Rice, Etc)

Various Toppings (See Picture)

STEPS

  1. Combine water, soy sauce, and miso over medium heat, stir until miso dissolves and then let mixture come to a boil

  2. Once boiling, add grains, stir, and reduce to low heat & cover, cook for 20-40 minutes (depending on the grain!)

  3. Remove cover and taste if the grains are cooked to your liking, if not! Add 1/2 cup of water and keep cooking until you feel good about your savory grains

  4. Top with your favorite treats!
