Miso Grains
here are all the things i can draw & that you can put on your miso grains
This is a tasty way to have a savory breakfast or funky time at lunch or dinner. This was 100% inspired & simplified from an Alison Roman Dining In recipe, sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup of Water
1 Tbsp Miso, I typically have white miso but you do you
1/2 Tbsp of Soy Sauce
1 Cup of Whole Grains (Rice, Quinoa, Hot Wheat Cereal, Faro, Oatmeal, Brown Rice, Etc)
Various Toppings (See Picture)
STEPS
- Combine water, soy sauce, and miso over medium heat, stir until miso dissolves and then let mixture come to a boil
- Once boiling, add grains, stir, and reduce to low heat & cover, cook for 20-40 minutes (depending on the grain!)
- Remove cover and taste if the grains are cooked to your liking, if not! Add 1/2 cup of water and keep cooking until you feel good about your savory grains
- Top with your favorite treats!
