Green Sauce

delicious-and-fresh-cuban.jpg

When I worked at Above Average (rip) as an Editorial Intern (rip rip) and was having a really bad day (once discovered my backpack was filled with ants. . .), I would go to the Sophie’s Cuban downstairs and drown my sorrows in their green sauce. When I had to go back to college in the fall, the search for making the green sauce began and now I think everyone already knows how to make this because of B*n A*p. . . okay, sure,

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup of Cilantro, leaves + stems, finely chopped

1 Jalapeño, seeds in, finely chopped

Juice from 2-3 Limes

2 Cloves of Garlic, chopped/minced

1/2 Cup of Mayo/Vegan Mayo/or 1 Very Ripe Avocado

Salt & Pepper to taste

STEPS

  1. Blend it all up baby!!!

  2. Store in fridge for many weeks (I don’t believe any food goes bad ever)
